Overdrive Interactive Wins Best Use Of Media Targeting At The MITX Awards

Overdrive is very proud and honored to announce that we won the best use of Media Targeting for our campaign with Harley-Davidson’s “Take Back Black Friday” at the 16th Annual MITX Awards last night!

The Harley-Davidson “Take Back Black Friday” was a holiday campaign that ran from Thanksgiving through the Holidays in 2010. The campaign’s goals were to generate sales and awareness for Harley-Davidson motorclothes and merchandise.  The media campaign consisted of different targeting options to reach relevant users such as behavioral targeting and retargeting, as well as social targeting media buys and direct buys. Display ads were shown to users who were most likely to purchase a motorcycle or merchandise and were also placed in Men, Sports, and Auto categories. The retargeted ads were shown to users who had already visited the Harley-Davidson website and thus had shown a direct interest in the brand. In addition, the social ads were targeted to users who were most similar to Harley-Davidson fans and social enthusiasts.

Overdrive Interactive has been selected as a finalist for FOUR awards from The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX).

MITX, the professional association for the Internet business and marketing industry, announced the finalists for the 16th Annual MITX Interactive Awards today. Since 1996, MITX has recognized excellence in the creation of web and mobile innovations and emerging applications produced and developed in New England.

We are honored to have been selected as a finalist for the MITX awards as it shows the success we have been able to bring to different clients in areas all over the web. We are very proud of the team we have here at Overdrive!

Overdrive Wins 2010 Interactive Agency of the Year!

After attending the 15th Annual MITX Awards, it was a night worth celebrating for our staff here at Overdrive Interactive. With  roughly 5,500 votes, our agency came out on top, taking home the 2010 Interactive Agency of the Year Award.

The MITX Awards recognizes achievements in the development and implementation of interactive technologies throughout New England in mobile, video and social media efforts.

The MITX Awards ceremony was filled with the competition of many surrounding agencies and was truly a night of recognition for all of the hard work our staff has done. In addition to the People’s Choice Award, we also won for the 2010 Video and Rich Media Strategies category.

Our agency would like to thank all of our family, friends and supporters who voted for us this year and helped us win these amazing awards. Congratulations to everyone!
